New submission of an Amicus Curiae to the Inter-American HR Court

We are pleased to announce you that the Aix Global Justice Clinic has just submitted an Amicus Curiae to the Inter-American HR Court. Under the supervision of Professor Hennebel, our case managers Lavinia Francesconi and Nina Webert, our case angels Daniel Arboleda and Lorraine Dumont, and a dedicated students team have examined and proposed a differentiated approach in the context of prisons towards women deprived of liberty who are pregnant, in postpartum period and breastfeeding, LGBT+ persons, older persons, indigenous peoples, children living in detention centers with their mothers.

From our analysis, it emerges that these approaches would be consistent with the principle of positive discrimination in situations of indirect discriminations suffered by these groups of persons.
